The 3rd CANNON Nimfea mountain race will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 09:00 am.

The start of the 12 km race, with a positive altitude difference of 540 meters, will be given from the Tourist Kiosk of Nimfea at 9:00 am, while the finish will also be at the same point.

The race route starts the circular route: Nimfea Tourist Kiosk – Old Customs House – Cannon and back to finish at the Nimfea Tourist Kiosk.

The features of the race are as follows:

•  Distance 12 kilometers
• Positive Altitude difference 543 meters
• The route consists mainly of paths
• There will be one (1) intermediate feed station and at the finish
• The valid termination time limit will be 4 hours

Registrations will only take place online through the official page of the Rodopi Runners Health Runners association,www.rodopirunners.gr.

The registration opening date is July 24, 2023.

The cost of participation amount is 15 euros, including food, electronic timing, medal, participation number and technical shirt of the race issued in the name of the N. Rodopis Health Runners Association.

Registrations will be made exclusively through the “Athletopia” application and only with the use of a bank card.

A registration is considered valid ONLY after the payment stage, and athletes will also be notified by personal email.

All athletes aged 18 and over are eligible to participate. Participation of minors (16 years and older) only with parental approval and responsible statement.

Each participant runs at their own risk, it is recommended that they have a recent medical examination, be in good health and be in a condition to cope with the scrutiny of this race.

The first three men and the first women in the general category and the first three in the 50+ Men category are awarded.

The start will be given from the Touristic Kiosk of Nymphaea at 9 am. and the finish is also at the same place.
